Hi again. After being offline for a few months we are back up and running. I have not had chance to do very much with the beads for a while and the site went a bit quiet so when my last lot of hosting ran out I let it end for a few months. Now we are back up and running. Unfortunately the size 11 beads shown on the site are the last of my stock now as my supplier, Foxes Dragon, appears to have gone out of business. Hopefully in the next few months I will also be able to present a few of my own Handmade Lampwork Glass. I have taken a leap, bought myself a Minor Burner and learnt to work glass. Practicing madly at the moment to be able to transform my ideas into reality but I am getting there.
Meet The Staff Not that many of us to meet really just little ol' me.
This is one of my favourite photos of myself. I don't usually like having my photo taken but this one was during our best holiday ever, we took the kids to Disneyland, Florida. This was taken at the Epcott Centre at the Chinese area. For those of you who are new to here let me tell you a bit about myself and how I came to love beads. I have always been creative and done cross stitch since I was about 10 I love creating pictures, drawing is not an option my matchstick men look nothing like sticks or men so tapestry and cross stitch was the next best thing. Then whilst doing some family research I discovered Native American Bead Weaving and I was hooked. Although I do the occasional single strand necklace the majority of my work incorporates woven designs done either with a loom or using peyote and brick stitch. Having just got myself a copy of Beadwizard I am now really getting into creating my own picture necklaces. Hopefully when my main desktop computer is back up and running and I can access my photographs a bit better I can get some of them on here for everybody to take a look at. I admit I am not up to the standards of some of the Bead Artists out there but I hope I am getting there at last. While you are here please sign my Guest book. Thanks
